Default Glove box move??

I am wondering if i can switch the stock passenger side glove box to the driver side. and remove the sub mount. it would be easier to mount my amps on the passanger side to run wires. thanks for any help or tips.

I wanted to do the exact same thing for the same reason.

Unfortunately the glovebox is molded into the panel. I decided it would be so much work that it was way easier just to put the amps on the drivers side.

actually it should definitely be possible. the box is bolted on in the same spots that the factory sub bracket bolts onto. you just have to pull off the big plastic piece that goes over the stuff behind the seats to get the box out. once you move the box then make sure you swap the doors, and you're good.

just did it!

All you have to do is a little work!
A lot of unscrewing and cutting the edges to a similar template so the fasteners will fit. Will take a little time, but very possible----Ill post pics with my full install tmorrw

Sorry, I gave bad info there.

It IS very easy to do. Unbolt everything, bracket behind insert and swap sides. You can just get another door and latch for the other side and have easy access for amp tuning.

Sorry again about that.

I don't ever think Ive seen my glovebox light work...

The glove can be switched easily like Zrated said, the sub cover needs bracket openings and a hole for the door pulley to go through. Just match the holes from the other side, & get an exacto
