Default Valentine One Hardwire Question

I am currently planning to hardwire my V1 into the Z (as I am sick of the coil running down the center of things).

I am wondering if anyone has done this, and if so, what kind of bracket they used?

I want it to sit below the rearview so that the rear roof line doesn't interfere with it's reception.

Lastly, should I splice into the mirror's power or go all the way down to the driver's footwell fuse panel?

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

A member here sells a mount for $30 that attaches to the rearview mirror arm, with the V1 sitting just below the rearview mirror. his name is Mike. His screen name is mike3348 on 350zmotoring.com. take a look here http://www.350zmotoring.com/forums/s...ight=same+mike
looks the same except for the V1--it's great

I think you can tap the fuse box or rearview mirror, but I recommend the fuse box, it will be easier to hide the power box and wires.

This thread shows an under mirror mount and instructions on hardwiring to the mirror.

I have one of the Mike Peronek V1 mirror mounts and really like it.
