Viper 690 Issue
Had this professionally installed about 6 months ago and as of last week the parking lights do not flash anymore when I turn the alarm on or off. They have worked since day 1 of the install.
I will take it back to the installer but figured I would ask you folks first.
FYI, the alarm still chirps when turning on and off.
Also the stock LED stays solid sometimes and intermittent sometimes???

The fuse can be blown on the parking light wire from the alarm. IF the light on the led stays on consistantly it means that it is in valet mode and either you pressed Lock, unlock, lock on the remote when the door was opened or when you took the key out of the ignition you must of pressed the valet button and turned it in that mode. If the car led stays on red cause it is triggered by the lock wire so everytime you lock the alarm it should make the light stay red then secs later it will go back to blinking.

I am not taking it back to the installer, those people are the retards who caused my entire car to fill up with antifreeze and they had to replace my heater core which ran $900, $750 labor.

I will call the stereo shop and speak to the manager and go to a different store.
BTW, I looked underneath and my interior piezo sirens are just hanging from their wires. WTF, these damn cheezy low-life teen-age installers really **** me off.
Everytime I get something done to my car, it seems no one knows WTF they are doing? Really pisses me off!
Thanks for listening.
I'll let you know the outcome.
