Question Mounting Depth for front Speakers

Im about to install a system in my car. Im doing alot of research but cant seem to find the last answer to my search. I need to know the maxium mounting depth for the front door speakers (stock). And the maxium speaker ring depth i can add ie: 1 inch 1/4 inch.

Im thinking about oging with MB Quarts DSE-216 up front
and DKE-116 in the back or should i go with the Infinity 6000 or the Alping type r series any opinions will help. Thanks

The window comes down only behind one area of the speaker hole (off to the side), but It is only set back about 2".

I made custom spacers that are 1 1/4" thick. Thats about all you can get away with.

You really have to look at how the speaker fits in the hole and the shape of the basket. Your better off buying what you want, then working around it.

My dynaudio's have a depth of around 3" but I still needed to space them 1 1/4", so the window may be less then 2" back.
