Question about the stock BOSE sub location
Hey guys, I know most of this has been discussed before (sorry can't seem to find stuff with the search button today), but I still have a couple of questions regarding the factory location for the Bose sub.
I actually have a Base model, so there is no SUB in place. I wanted to move my Basslink to that location. Does the plastic cover simply pop off with a screw driver? Once you remove the plastic cover is it just metal brackets in there (is it even a flat surface)? If so, I was wondering if I can get the lining from the regular glove box to fit in there because otherwise I just don't want the BAsslink to make the metal brackets rattle. If not, I guess I could just use some sound-deadening material, but I don't know if I'll have problems mounting the Basslink in there (so it doesn't move).
Any suggestions from those who have done this would be appreciated (I know I've seen a bunch of pictures from people on this site, but now that I am looking for them I can't find them).
