I'm wondering if my new JL 1000/1 will fit in the stock glove box, so I need to know how wide the stock glove box is. Also how wide the stock sub compartment is. I would measure it today but I don't want to drive on my spare tire (embarrasing), my tape measure is at a girl's house and I feel like I'm gonna puke whenever I move + I'd like to order all my new wiring today. Thanks.

 

not sure the exact size but unless you want to cut open the glove box the 1000/1 wont fit in there.

The stock glove box is like 19 inches wide. The opening to the sub compartment is about 20 inches. the interior width of the sub compartment is about 25, but it tapers in to about 18 inches on the driver's side, ie it narrows on that side as it goes back towards the wheel well. The depth is about 14 inches or so if memory serves.
