Default Which Member Makes A Custom Faceplate

Looking to buy a new HU for my enthusiast and I am having trouble finding the member who makes custom faceplates on SEARCH.

Anyone know which member makes them?
I saw this pic once of this really nice polished black one.
I dont want the stupid mount with in dash pocket that audio express has.

Appreciate any ideas or pics you guys have as well.
THANKS!

I know in Houston there's a local sound shop that does everything custom. They're not too badly priced either, gimme a PM if you want their phone number. They do training for installers all over the world (though mostly in Asia).

Thanks.
I will consider that but i would like to buy the one I saw on here. It was in black and had a Z emblem..I dont want the Z emblem but that polished black finish is what I was looking for.

Does anyone else remember that pic. I went through SERACH for liek an hour looking for it.

Dave

This piece "Stainless DIN plate" looks pretty cool.
How do I get that to fit perfect with exact face that I choose?
Anyone else have this?
What else do I need to make this piece work?

Thanks,

Tom

Would I need a double DIN if I buy just a standard size stereo HU?

Any pics Dave.
I know I sound retarted right now but can you explain further...when you buy a new face you have to buy a dash kit right?
Is this not just a aluminium piece?...it actually is the entire dash kit?

I'm sorry, but I really don't thnk that looks good at all. The head unit sticks out to far and the plate doesn't conform with the curve of the dash, looks out of place. But hey, that's just my opinion.

Enthuziast,

I have one of these that I used previosuly with my Pioneer 7200 and later an Alpine 7995. It worked nice and got a lot of compliments .. however, I have now gone to a fiberglassed in type setup .... or at least I am going it now.

So, I no longer need mine ... I'll sell it to ya real cheap if you wanted to try it out. pm me if interested

And dave is right ... you dont have to buy a dash kit when you get this, it is unecessary.

let me know
jim

Good point I noticed this too. Can a cutsom audio place remedy this or is a curved dash kit the only solution?
