The stereo shop that I am having put togehter my system swears that these are terrific components but I don't know anybody that has them. Does anybody have any opinions on the sound quality vs. price? By the way he wants $300 for the pair, is that a good price?

 

sounds pretty steep. my friend has a set, not anything i'd listen to. everyones tastes are different. listen to them before you decided. you should be able to find a pair of boston acoustics pros for around that price, maybe a little more.

 

I just installed them in my car this past weekend. I think they sound great and I only paid $185 shipped for them. Install was fairly simple as I was able to take out the stock tweeter and install the JL one with the factory bracket.

 

You can propably get XR 650 csi for that price, as a matter of fact I know you can
