im stuck between two different headunits.

the kenwood DDX- 7015
or the
Eclipse AVN54

the price is not really an issue, I just want the best quality

Doesn't one have nav and other not? Or does that not matter to you.

 

I'm in the same boat...I like the looks of the Eclipse better and the nav all in one unit rocks, but the Kenwood is Sirius ready...I still haven't made up my mind, so good luck to you

 

i do believe the kenwood has a better display. just doesn't have nav. if you don't need the nav, get the kenwood. i've seen the 7015s for under 1k.

 

The kenwood has a nav option. But I'd agree with stu46... if you don't want nav, get the 7015. I have a factory nav, so I'm going with a 7015 -- already purchased, just under 1k, on the way here!

 

If I didn't need the nav option, I would probably go with the Alpine iva-d901 or the Eclipse AVX-2494 for 1.15 million pixels rather than 280,800 pixels of the AVN-2454 or 336,960 pixels of the Kenwood DDX- 7015.
