Default Need audio/visual planning help!

Hey guys I'm trying to figure out how I want setup my new system in the Z. What I want to do is put in a screen, cd/dvd deck without having to screw with any additional wiring or amps. I'd eventually like to put in a GPS system also. I'd like to keep all this below 800 bucks also.

But also all the components besides the GPS stuff don't have to be seperate either, they could all be in one unit if the price would be below 800. So if any of you gurus could make a suggestion on what I should be looking for and where I could possibly get it i'd appreciate it.

Also I plan on install this myself. Yes I'm fairly decent with the old soldering iron, but I' prefer to not have to use it for this project.

Thanks.

I really don't know how you're going to get a cd/dvd playing deck and screen for under $800. Pyle might have some uber-cheap stuff, but it'll look like crap. When it comes to this stuff, you want to go quality, IMO at least. I've always used Alpine, but to each their own I suppose.

Also, when doing car audio, I HIGHLY suggest soldering all joints. Lots of people like crimps, but they can come undone. When driving the car it bumps around, vibrates, it's just too easy for that stuff to come undone.

Good luck

I have to agree on the above sentiments.

Will (does not like to buy "cheap" equipment since it usually breaks quickly and/or sucks)

Actually I'm looking at the Kenwood 7015, and it seems to do everything I wanted above. Looks like I get it for around 900-1000. So maybe I should say my budget extends to 1k for what I was talking about above.
