Default Carpeting a box

Guys,

I bought some carpet for a sub enclosure. I have some nail glue. How do the profesionals connect two pieces? Is the process the same as those who install home carpet?

Overlap the edges and make sure its tight, then cut hard enough down through both layers to create a perfect seam, then fuzz by hand when it's dry ..

When you say Fuz, that means take off the excess fuzzy material that has come loose while gluing?

I can tell you what I did for my amp rack. I used a spray adhesive on the rack and the back of the carpet. Then I used a staple gun around the edges underneath where you can't see. It worked out great. I bought the spray adhesive at Pepboys, and it worked perfectly.

#m Spray Adhesive is what you need to use. let it tack up a little bit and it will apply right on.

Fuzz as in rub .. the material will sort of hide your line. The key is of course making sure you have it pulled tight & cutting the 2 layers as even as possible.
