door speaker grille cut to install Perfect 6.1
Guys,
Just want to know if you have to cut the inside clips of the speaker grille in order to fit the Perfect 6.1?
I cut the clips and now it doesn't stay in place (now it sticks out)

I don't have Perfects, but I still had to shave the lower clips. I removed the pointed part, but still left the part that clipped on with no clearance issues. See if that will work for U. The grills aren't expensive to replace.
...and while your at it, experiment with opening the speaker holes on the grill you want to replace. I definately could tell a difference in sound by doing this. It just takes some time to do.
