i say go to 2 10w6v2's and a jl audio 1000/1. and if possible do it with a ported box (but that would require major trunk space for a big box). it'll sound sweet with a sealed box too, but for rap the punchy bass of a ported box can't be beat. i too listen to mostly rap and ive got a 10w7 in a sealed box running with 500 watts and it's loud as hell so the two w6v2s and 1000 watts and ported box would be unbelievable i'm sure.

Stu,

You already said the 10w6v2 is a dual 4ohm, today i was at an audio store. I saw the sub and it has only one pair of terminal. Is that internally wired then? So if i wired it parallel, then I can achieved 2ohm (i know the answer, but want to make sure)? The guy was offering it to me for $250 out the door. Is that a good deal?

Cause i have an infinity perfect 10.1d and it has two pairs of terminal.

Guys,

Found the answer to my question. It is just using the cables as jumpers.

Is 10w6v2 for $250 a good price (out the door)?

Copper,

I probably can get it, but with the shipping and paypal transfer, you wouldn't really save much.

i've got a 10w7 with a 500/1 for low-end and a pair of MB Quart components and a pair of coax's w/ a 300/4 for high end

works really well for me, hits nice and hard, keeps up with most fast-bass songs... to give you an idea, i was leaving work one day and a buddy of mine pulled up next to me... later on he told me that my stereo was rattling the crap in his car... haha

remember, the Z doesn't have too much air volume, so a little goes a long way ;-)

what's the best sub for SPL, I would just like one 12 and a 500.1 Some people say the MTX is good, and the fosgates powers as well.

Anyone?
