Yes. This happened to me and many others.

Switch to radio and it is fine.

Sometimes hitting the side of the radio console will re-activate the left channel.

I discovered removing and re-inserting the CD helps too.

Removing ALL the CDs and re-inserting helps too.

Yesterday, my CD player failed completely. I called the dealer just a moment ago and had to leave a message with the service manager.

I've read about many Z owners getting their Bose head units replaced. It is common.

(and damn-it, I just had a new transmission put in too)

Dealer said that they are replacing about one-a-week for this problem.

One guy on this forum said he was on this fourth Bose head unit!

The dealer said that I must visit them so that they could get certain information before they could order a new radio.

I visited the dealer at lunch today. I asked them to make sure when they order the new radio that it is the newest available. (thinking that it might help).

Unfortunately, happening to me to...

fortunately, I will be upgrading my system in less than two weeks.

Bye Bye Blose.

I thought I'd get a new BLOSE ;-) before either I purchase an Eclipse or Pioneer head unit.

I own some Kenwood equipment and I'm convinced Kenwood sucks when it comes to low-end (bass) performance.
