I have an 04 touring model with the bose sound system and I want to hook up my new ipod to the stereo. I wish to use the PAC AAI-NIS aux-in box with the bose hu.

My understanding is that if the hu says RADIO on the right-most button of the unit, and NOT am/fm, then this hu has the satelite input and the AAI-NIS box will work.

Is this correct?

Also, for those that have installed the ipod, how loud is the ipod when compared to the CD and radio? PAC also sells a line driver turbo box that gives an adjustment to balance the line-in so that it matches the hu output.

Is this extra box necessary?
