Default Alpine IVA-D300

Anyone have this? Had a few questions:

1.) What do you think of it?
2.) Does it support a navigation system and if so, what's that entail? (I'm new to this all). I figure a dvd player just to get the navigation dvd's working, right?

Any feedback would be awesome. Thanks!

I've got the IVA-900 which I think is the same thing but has the integrated DVD-Player. I like it. The screen looks great. You can add a lot of different options like XM, NAV or Changer.

Mine should be here next week. It does have built in DVD player like the 900, and it has a seperate input for DVD nav (this is a seperate dvd box about the size of a head unit that you mount in your car somewhere else, and hook into the receiver), as well as a video input (xbox, rear view camera etc.), optical output (which you can run over to a 32 band per channel sound processor without picking up any errenous noise from other wiring in the car), dolby digital 5.1, supports the ipod interface, can control an XM receiver, etc. etc. Check out the specs at www.alpine-usa.com

Also got the IVA-D900 in my M3. Great TV. In my Z I have the Pioneer AVH-P7500. These two TV's are the top of the market. The only thing the AVH has that the IVA doesnt is touchscreen.
