Default Amp to base stereo?

ive got a JL audio 220 watt amp thats just sitting around and was thinking about running it to the two 6.5'' speakers in the speaker bar behind the seats. has anyone done this...did it make a difference with those speakers? it just seems like the front door speakers are the only ones making any noise.

Use it for your front speakers, unless you already are running a good amp to them.

What type of inputs does the amp have? Loud speakers behind your head are anoying..get better front spkrs and amplify them.

honestly i dunno...i dont know much about car stereo specs. i just buy what my other friends say is good/decent stuff. i believe its a JL Audio 220.2 amp...or something .2...who knows. i just want a little more noise out of those speakers though, i feel like im only hearing the door speakers.

well, if want to run rear speakers, they shouldn't be loud. just enough to where you don't notice with the stereo playing but if you remove it, you notice it's not there. Make sense? 200W is a lot for just your rear speakers. If you have an aftermarket HU, you can use that to power the rear speakers. what's you're setup?
