Audiobahn Subwoofer Tube Enclosure
Anyone seen the Audiobahn Subwoofer Tube Enclosure? The 10" model (ATB10T) is 11.25" (W) x 18.5" (H) and includes a 10" sub and grill. It might fit behind or even under the strut tower brace bar. I am thinking I could swap the woofer out with my Infinity Perfect 10VQ (if it fits and the box supports the power). It does not have a amplifier built in, so I can use the amp I currently have mounted in my glove box. Also is aesthetically pleasing, and can be found for under $100. Anyone seen anything else like this around?

I've seen this at Circuit City for about $250. It has a built in amp if I remember correctly. I would like to see if it will fit in the area behind the seat. What area of Chandler do you live in? I am in Gilbert (Higley & Williams Field) .
I live in Ocotillo in South Chandler (Ocotillo/McQueen) ... not too far from where you are at.
Now I think that this would probably would not turn out well. The amp and sub are probably crap. I think they make a model with an amp and one without however I am pretty sure they both come with a sub. I'm not sure if my sub would even fit the enclosure or if the tube's cubic airspace is enough for my sub. It seems like it would fit the rear of the vehicle very nicely though. I don't know if it would fit behind the drivers seat, I have heard of people putting Infinity basslinks there successfully though. Personally I would stay away from that space, I've learned my lesson. It will be very hard to get something to sound good back there and probably end up costing you more and never reach the potential you would expect from a nice system. Tubes generally don't sound very good. I'm thinking about just buying a 6-channel amp and one of the eBay enclosures.

I work in the Circuit City Roadshop here in NJ and have heard this basstube. I honestly think it sounds like garbage compared to the Infinity basslink. I'd still save the money and setup a nicer system, though.
