Default Pictures of my Upgrade...

I just finished the upgrades to my car Friday night. The system now includes:

dB Link 0 gauge power and ground
dB Link 12 gauge wires run to front stage
dB Link ANL style fuse holder
dB Link Power Distribution Block (1 0 gauge in, 4 4 gauge out)
dB Link Ground Distribution Block (4 4 gauge in, 1 0 gauge out)

Hooker Expert Series RCAs
-RCAs ran through the dash up through the Apillar and through the head liner back to my amps, thus avoiding power wires completely.

A/D/S 345im Coaxial in my kick panels
-Pre-Directed equipment
-Fiber glass pods built into the doors to improve imaging and mid-bass response.

Eclipse Aluminum Cone 10s
-Custom Fiber Glass boxes
Eclipse AVN-2454

Phoenix Gold Tantrum TLD22 Line Driver
-Bumped my RCA out put from my Deck to 8v, mounted just below my deck under the AC controls.
Phoenix Gold TEQ15X Equalizer (EQ215i)
-15 Band Tuning Nightmare
Phoenix Gold Xenon 1200.1
-1200 watts for two tens, yes that’s true
Phoenix Gold Xenon 200.4

Ashmo,

That looks sweet so far. How about some pics of the kick panels. How is the sound with of your front set up? I have been thinking about a similar set up except with Image Dynamics. I am interested in how the coaxials sound in the kicks.

I get those up soon...

The sound from the kicks/coaxils and components/doors amazes me. The difference really comes out when I step into someone else's car

I thought I would need to run the components purely for midbass rather then full range but right now I cant hear any cancelations...

I am thinking that if I have the 5.25 ID high performance coaxials in the kick panels along with a set of ID CX62 in the door and just one 10 or 12 sub under my strut bar I would have all the sound I want. You think it would work? THe CX62 is the mid-bass driver from the Chameleon components which I have heard sounds sweet.

I think that would work nicely, the only thing I would recomend is making a pod or mdf ring that more or less directs the sound up towards your ears from the midbass driver. I think it was worth the trouble we went to put one such device in my car.

I have taken off my door panel before to see what everyone was talking about. I understand what you mean and I think that I have some stuff in the garage that I can trim to angle the midbass. Thanks for your input it is greatly appreciated.
