Man all I can say is. I know MTX is not high end, but sit in my car and you eyes will bounce in their sockets, ha ha ha. for 2 10's these things hit hard. I like MTX products never had a problem with them. I would recomend these subs to anyone. also very little volume is needed for them, which is crucial for the Z.

Those subs are very high end. I would take those MTX subs over Jlw7 10s any day.

Before anything... Install looks awesome...
I have a question and hopefully you can help me out.
Do you still have use of your spare tire? Box looks like it came out pretty far.

you wouldn't happen to have any schematics for the dimensions would you? i'd like to make a new box for my W7 similar to that, as opposed to my current box that goes straight back and is higher than the rear speakers and stuff. i'm not liking how it looks right now.

that must really have been a pita to put the box in the car from the front.

i doubt the spare tire is still accessible. my box goes to the front of the strut bar also and i hvae to remove my box to get the spare tire out because it can't be lifted up from the back first (even if you take the plastic piece with the light out).

I'm about to make a box for my Z except it's been in the shop for 3 weeks. waiting on a rear suspension lateral link that was on back order... can't really get measurements from my car. I had an idea of making a box just like vantage's and then i saw the one he made and all that more inspiring. I would appreciate schematics as well.... don't know if he'd share them so i was reluctant to ask.

You are correct, the only way to get my spare out is to slide my box back and up out of the way. fortunetly, everything is removeable, nothing is bolted down. <<<(hope theirs no thieves reading)>>> . thats the only thing that sucks.

I'd really appreciate it.... you can email em to me or something.... did you draw it on autocad? i wanted to get into my trunk and take measurements and get the angles but i haven't had any luck getting that part... nissan hasn't even released it from the warehouse.... if i had acurate dimensions i could build my box even if don't got the car.... but it's all up to you... thanx anyway...

Did you have to put the box togather in the car? The box slides in the back and then you put on the front? Right?

I can have something like that whiped up for you. But the price of the plexi is expensive. That kind of box would cost about $230 to make but then the plexi is $100 so total is $330... Might as well add a little more and get a fiber glass one. My friends shop is starting fiberglass in the summer, cant wait
