Stupid question, but how do you control the mac? Is there like a wireless mouse/keyboard?

Also, on your pioneer deck, did it automatically recognize the mac in the aux ports?

Very very nice. I was just waiting for someone to put a Mac Mini in their car. Where did you actually mount it? I thought it would be cool to have it mounted right in the dash, so you could utilize the Superdrive right in your dash location.

Post up more info! LOL
Maybe a write-up of how to do it and any problems you ran into during the install.

Yeah, once you do it you could do 10 in the time it took to do the first one. Looks real nice. I'm sure passengers are intrigued by it. I know I would be. LOL

Most people have no idea how people do these things or why they do them. LOL

Very nicely done! Could you give some more info or a screen shot of the navi software you are using?

I want to put a computer in my FX but so far aren't very impressed by the nav software out there. I was more towards PC because a mac mini is really overkill in a car since it's such a powerful (yet small) machine. Looking at yours makes me want to lean towards a mac since it's already such a small device and less computer build time would be involved. Plus the price is much cheaper than building a pc of the same size!

the headunit looks pretty un-stealth, probably better to keep factory to get the stealth effect.. nice install nevertheless..

Wow that's crazy. Doesn't it get too hot in there? Especially when you're parked in the sun all day? I don't think many computers are meant to be used in the car.
