Default some new pics for you guys **56k die!!**

just got my full alpine system installed...I wanted to save the space behind the strut for holding things...since the car already lacked storage space. So I placed both amps and a 12" Alpine Type-X sub between the rear speakers and the rear strut...custom made the box. Type X front and rear speakers also. Sounds awesome! This thing pounds like craaaaaaazy! oh and the headunit is the new Alpine IVA-D310.

hope you guys like it..I sure do!

Thats pretty tight, I hope you are making a show car though? Whats the point to have all this, turbo kit, body kit, if it is your daily driver, or you want it to be fast? I just dont understand sometimes...

Looks incredible though.

yea I'm TRYING to build a show car...but unfortunately my only sponsor is my bank account...=(

But most of all I want to build a car for myself. It's a passion as well as a hobby, and every mod is put in by myself, or I have significant input. So the end result = MY CAR. you know what I mean?

thanx kvn8 for the compliment! The whole system including install cost me $8000 cdn. Should cost more but the manager of the audio shop is a good friend of mine... Alpine Type X is expensive, but worth every penny.

Damn bro that's pretty crazy looking setup you got there. I envy you.
BTW, how much was your Alpine headunit???
I'm in a process of building up my sound system soon, and I can't
decide if I should go for Pioneer or Alpine flip out DVD headunit.
Any recommendations or suggestions anybody???

I got the head unit for $1500cdn. But they retail around $2000cdn I believe...or $1500US. I like this head unit because of the pulsetouch screen (every button actually feels like a bump...so you can feel your way around the screen and not constantly look down.) Also, the direct-touch feature is one of a kind. for example, if you play a dvd movie, you will have a menu with "play movie", "setup", "bonus materials", etc etc...with other touch screen units, there are places on the screen for you to hit to go right or left to the next selection...but for the Alpine, you can touch directly on those buttons. I don't know if this makes sense...if not, I'm sorry...just go to a car audio shop and try it out and you'll know what I mean. I also went Alpine because I want my entire system to be one brand. And I just love Alpine. Anyways good luck! And thanx for the compliment!
