Default My system pics (Kenwood DDX7017, JL Subs & Amps, Focal components)

Here are some pics. of my system (thanks to anyone2u) which was installed by WickedCAS of NH (some of you may know the name Nazar as he's the owner).

The system sounds incredible and the color scheme matches perfectly with my car. For those interested, here's what the setup includes:

Kenwood DDX-7017(with Sirius satellite and iPod connection)
Focal 165K2P door component speakers with midrange mounte on custom chrome silver painted door pods
Focal Access coaxial in rear stock location
Three 10" JL Audio 10W1-V2 subs in custom chrome silver fiberglass under strut bar box
JL Audio 500/1 amp for the subs
JL Audio 450/4 amp for the Focals
Optima Battery
Dynamatting on doors and trunk floor

Let me know what you think.

Outstanding! Great install!

I'm particularly curious how well the iPod works with the Kenwood. Any chance you could take some pics of the system in use? I'm curious in if the Kenwood is more user friendly (with the full double-din display) than the other manufacturer's one-line displays.

Thanks. Great system again.

well I have the 7015 and the iPod adapter and its not terribly friendly. I meant to check out this HU with the iPod (when Andrew was up) to see if they changed anything to make it friendlier.

I have yet to try the iPod connection. I'll let you know how it works when I get a chance to try it.

Approx. 2-1/2 hours. Remember also that there is no sales tax in NH which is a nice saving if you're getting a high-end setup.

I had the chance of hearing this system over the weekend. I've heard and owned loud cars before, but this car is simply amazing, not only is it loud and powerful but the sound is soooo clean. Perfect.

Very Clean...I love that Kenwood head unit too.

How is the box fastened to keep it from moving on hard accel and braking?

What is that box on top of your guages?

And lastly we need more pics of those door speakers

The box is actually a tight fit, however, I know some people that have screwed it into the plastic housing of the strut bar. I have yet to have it slide out and I've really tried to push it out and if the torque from the APS TT couldn't do it then you could only imagine how tight of a fit it is.

The box on top of my gauges is my Defi digital display which monitors EGT, water temp & oil temp.

I'll take some more pics of the door pods tomorrow and will post it then.

Thanks to everyone for the compliments.
