hybrid, I dont want to start selling openly on the forum, so for pricing purposes, PM me or send me an email I will certainly be happy to help you out in any way i can

Basically, I ran a shop for a few years on the east coast, and recently, moved to norcal with my wife. I got tired of the shop thing because like most shops, we were limited to a few brands, and we had to push them hard, and we always was under a time restraint to get as many cars in and out as possible to keep profitable, which was against my whole idea of car audio.

so now, I do custom installs out of my own place, and i do them the way i want, whcih is make sure everyhting is up to standard and done properly before going off to the customer. Small things like proper connection, dampening every door speaker install, wire tieing everything etc etc. And through my old connections, i can pretty much get every brand out there so i canalways choose the best brand for the price and desired performance.

All my work pretty much comes from referals...my whole goal is to build clean system that look good and most importantly, sound good, at a cost that is usually quite a bit below high end shops.

Does the BOSE HU suffer from the same 80Hz frequency response rolloff that the NON-BOSE HU does? If so, what did you do to compensate for it?

Is there a reason for the face of the enclosure not filling the hole under the strut tower? And, is it me or are the LED's off center?

answers...bose headunit? hwat bose headunit? carputer is the headunit

as i said in the post, not filling thole for hte lights to shine through

as for leds not centered, they are cenreted somewhat oin easch sub, but the leds themselves for some reason arent the same quality and shine slightly different pattners and brightness...making it look kind werid...but the night vision mode over emphasises this

I must have had another post open at the same time. You clearly stated the computer. I got confused when I saw the dash taken apart and it was still there. Nevermind

haha yeah. the car audio is all up and running now with the carputer. 7" widescreen touchscreen is in the oem navi pocket, fits perfectly. and i put the carputer in the OEM sub compartment since theres buttloads of roomback there and showing it off to everyone and their mom isn't a priority.

the reason why i said use half of the strut is becaise if you look at the underside it actually already is almost divided up into two. plus i do a good amount of traveling and i want to be able to fit some bags back there if need be. also, if you bring the subs all the way forward to be flush with the end of the strut, what happends with the spare? it becomes increasingly difficult to remove! ahh =p

i'm not building a showoff car and need something practical =)
