Default just did two of my video visors in a Nissan , coupla quick pics

just installed two of my 8" widescreen video visors into a 05 nissan frontier, though its not a Z, the shape of the visor, the mounting system are all pretty similar to the Z, so this can provide a rough idea of how they would work in a Z

i offer these at a discount to forum members by the way, just click the link in my sig hehe

here you go:

We used the oem visors and Farenheit monitors to do mine. Who makes those visor monitors? It looks really clean.

i do, well my company's reps in asia does, its a standard mold, and pick and chose our own screens to put in there

your car looks great, this is why i plan to do some wrapping of hte visors with suede for an even cleaner look...

the thing with suing oem visors, is that you cant fit too big of a screen in there, thse are 8" widescreens hehe

You know when you use the visor as a visor you could have it to the side where it could get caught by the window rolling up.

its not too difficult honestly, the harndest part in any of these replacement sunvisor installs is to:

1. figure out a way to cover the hole since the new mounting gear maybe smaller

2. find a way to fully secure the ounting tab sinc ehte screws may not line up

i have done i think over 100 of these lol...so its getting there, some cars, it takes 30 mins to do both sides, some cars, it takes 3 hours... the Z, from the looks of it, falls on the easier side

Bing,

you have full spec for the LCD visor? I found this 8" LCD with these specs:

8" TFT LCD display panel
Contrast 300 : 1
Brightness: 300cd/m2
Resolution: 234(H) x 3 RGB x 480(W) = 336960 Dots
Wide viewing angle (L/R: 60 degrees, U/D: 20 degrees)
V1/V2 RCA Video Input
PAL / NTSC auto switchable

are they good?

specs mean jack, every manufactuerer, be ig the crappiers, or good ones, list the pretty much the same specs...its sorta like that in all car audio if you think about it, look at a specs for a crappy amp and a good amp and hoenstly, you cant tell the difference, cuae sthe bad amp overrates everything andt he good amp underrates...

ilearned that the hardway, so now, i pick my screens only by looking at them with the naked eye hehe
