I don't think it was that much weight. Around maybe 100-125lbs with everything. Our Z's are heavy anyways. Plus I only weigh 140. Maybe I'd take the sub box out if I plan to autocross anytime soon.

 

wow man, u go the exact same setup up i'm saving up for, except i'm going with the alpine iva-w200 HU. so far i got the sub and the compents, still saving for the rest.

how did u get the tweeters installed on the stock pods?

 

I used a hole saw after I took off the door panel. then i sanded the edges a little bit and the outer casing of the tweeter filled up the space i sanded.

 

It's been a few months with the system. Love it on the highway, cristal clear at 70 with the windows down. I added a touch to the amp compartment because I thought it need to be shown off a bit. check it out.

 

My sub seems to bottom out sometimes depending on the bass of the song. I put some polyfill in the box but it still happens. Anyone running a W6v2 w/ a 500/1 can tell me what voltage settings you guys have? Thanks in advance.

300/4, wayyyyy more than enough. In fact mine is running about 40% gain.
