not really, take off the trim aroundt he shifter, and then take out the two screws on the rear sides of the center cnsole and you can lift up the center console enough to unsecure that piece

like i said, barely any rattles

like i said, barely any rattles

They should work for both. At highway speeds, I am *way* more than happy with the amount of bass. But true story, a guy pulled up in his tricked out SUV with his music blaring. I jumped to a rap folder, cranked it up, drowned out his bass, and made him scowl.
.
I would suspect, a major plus to the box is less body-rattle from this kit (as it fires down and resonates). The box design is remarkable (still shaking my head from how well it came out). Though, I am sure 16psibrick's installation helped out with the results. With all that said, I would wager you would get a bit more bass thumping off your back glass, though, with the standard under bar box (based on the mind-numbing bass in my last hatchback). But you should still be very happy with this one, as well.

I am still learning about installs but I had a question... It looks like you put the 6.5's into the floor here. Why didn't you put them into the stock areas behind the headrests? DId you leave that area behind the headrests empty?

Wouldn't the subs drown that out?
