I wanted to also share my car's build thread with this community, so if you like a lot of pictures please enjoy.

The car
Front wheel
Rear wheel, look at that lip
*** shot
Interior w/ suede dash
Suede headliner
Suede headliner again
Door stripped, I like how it has a metal sheet to seal off the inside from the out.
And the headunit/accessories.

First job is running the 0 awg into the cabin. Step 1, off comes the battery cover
Look at all of that room we have to work with now.
We pass the wire through the grommet conveniently located on top in plain view.
In order to get to the wire inside, we remove the door jam trim piece
And the kickpanel
which is secured by one screw in the back.
Then it just pops out.
Before we run the wire, we need to grab it from the box of goodies.
And techflex that sob
Snake!
Then We cut the hole.
And pass it from the outside
in
Next we disconnect the battery
And out come the seats, a bolt in each corner and some connectors on the bottom.
Bag and tag the bolts
Out she comes
Rinse and repeat
Next we tear out the dash.
Side bar, anyone else think this is too nice of them?

Time to gut the trunk
Take that **** off
Pop off foam
Then the wheel retainer
out
Out comes the wheel
Then you have to get this foam stuff off
Make sure to get the remains
Then to get the foam out, there are two plastic screws on the right
And one on the left
Then a bunch of these hooks
Thats what they look like out
I then proceeded to take out the weather striping
Looks like a snake
Its sharp without it
The pile of parts removed is starting to get big
Next we pop out the back piece
The next group of photos are my montage of taking the trunk apart
Doesn't the trunk look clean now?
Too bad the interior looks like poo poo, haha
Next I vacuumed and wiped down the trunk
Then I began with this, se^2
Stock bose amp, wait till you see the subwoofer.

I started applying se to what felt like trouble areas
Back of trunk
V4
Next the metal door skin
The motor is attached to the skin, so when we took it off, we had to tape the windows so they wouldn't move

For the amp project, first unscrew the screws
This will leave you with a bare amp
Then cut the plexi with a razor and a str8 edge
Pop into place, with cold cathodes

The amazing stock subwoofer
I dont even know what to say
Besides this thing is the biggest waste of space ever
Deadened outside skin, this is two layers, feels solid as a rock
Photo of the festive work area

Nav Antenna, its going to be mounted on the rear strut brace under the plastic, so it wont be visible, but still get reception
Avic Z1 mounted in the dash, I think it really looks good here
RCAs and other headunti cables bundled and ran up the center console
And up the side
Installed, again, I think it looks fantastic here
This little box has its hands in so much stuff, if it isnt hooked up the gauges dont work.

Heres the cubby above the screen, I think we may add another monitor, so it can play movies while using the nav
Cubby closed, the suede kind of gets in the way, I'm trying to convince him to get a cf one to go with the other cf tidbits he just ordered.
Stock bose speaker

Just as quality a piece as the subwoofer.
This is what you have to do when you have an out of commision window, and you dont want the inside to get wet
Next step, probably the least fun of this whole process was runing the speaker wires into the doors.
Inside the door grommet
Inside the cabin grommet

Start by pulling the grey lever down to disconnect the cabin side
When you pull them apart you get this, coke can for scale
As you can see theres lots of empty spaces for an extra wire to pass through
I found the safest/most efficient way was to use an exacto with a push style blade on it
You have to take a bunch of crap off the other side
Then you cut in the corresponding location
Then, after much struggling, cursing, cutting my fingers, etc, it went through and the grommets snapped together
Ouch, the other side was pretty much the same, but its harder to get to the inside grommet since there is less access
Wires layed out for the speakers
Stock E Dead
Had two run two more wires for the midrange and tweeters in the kickpanels, luckily they were much easier
Up the side to the trunk
10w7 top
10w7 side
Wicked CAS understrut enclosure
It seems kind of flimsy considering they suggest two 10 w7s for it, I'll probably end up adding some more glass to it

Install looks to be going great so far. Glad to see you are doing things the right way and not just throwing wires everywhere. They suggest 10W7's for that box? What is the net volume of it? I know the 10W7 requires what 1.1 cubes each before displacment. That doesnt even look close..
How does the suede on the center counsel look in person ? I accidentally spilled activator on mine and it now has white streaks going down it. This seems like a cheaper way to re finish the dash instead of sanding and base/ clearing the center counsel.

In regards to the box, Nazar from WickedCAS qualifys this box up to 2 W7's. The box it self is 1.85cu ft, but each side is not segregated. Both subs will be hitting into the one airspace and with some polyfill and tuning we should still be very able to achive what we're looking for.
In regards to the suede, I love the suede on the dash. It looks great. Only complaint would be that when the sun hits it through the windshield it almost looks faded, but its far from faded.

Not feeling the suede mod... :P
Great products, install looks detailed. How come he didn't go the standard kick panel route with 6.5's? Those subs are massive, how heavy are they?

Why go kick panel route with 6.5's when you can go 3 way 8.3's and put the mid and tweet in the kick panel and a huge woofer in the door?
Yea the subs are heavy, 35 pounds per or something like that.
