Nice job Jeffrey and thanks for posting the pictures! Looks like they did a great job on the install and the eq install makes a lot of sense. You weren't kidding when you said you wanted a lot of airspace for your subs and I'm sure they sound great. Fortunately Boston Acoustics Pro subs only require .3 cu.ft for each 8" inch sub so I only needed a total of 1.2 cu.ft (ie 4 x .3) versus JL's recommended ~1.5 - 2.00 cu. ft for your two.

As far as the surround sound "debate", I've got to believe that that is the direction car audio and new music releases is heading. Since I listen to DVDs and AUDIO DVDs quite a bit and will (some day) get my Alpine processor with Pro Logic II/DTS, I decided to go that way. Then again you have set your system up so that you always could switch with little trouble if you ever wanted to by adding the DVH920 and the SRK5 center channel speaker (a really cool little speaker) like jeffa did.

By the way, where did they mount the crossovers? Those things are HUGE! Again, great job!

Oh yeah, crossovers.

The rears are in the speaker chamber itself, there was more than enough room and airspace for the size of the speakers.

For the doors, they took the foam insert out of the doorhandle part and re-shaped them so the crossovers would fit right behind them. I wasn't there when they did that part of the doors so I couldn't get pictures.

If you want to spice that headunit up a little more, check that link out. I have red/orange LED's behind it right now which make the three dots and Z glow like the gauges at night. Its killer!

Nice install!

That's nice, but I'd rather have my pocket.
