UPDATE 4/17/08
It's like putting your child up for adoption.. or at least what I think that might feel like being a 27 year old with the maturity of a 9 year old.
ENJOY it MDK!
Well, time to move on... I took off those little humps I didn't like the look.
All traced out..
Mounting holes cut out.. Since I don't have subs yet I tried to cut them a little tight, just in case.
Uno!
Dos!
Tres!
Easy as that... The edges aren't smoothed because I am out of sand paper, I'll have to take care of it tomorrow.
In retrospect, that last pic is a little phallic.

UPDATE 4/19/08 Afternoon
So I got a little done yesterday, and had big plans to wake up early today and really get a lot done... And then the drinking began... so less got done that I had hoped =)
I cut out the base, and used the drill sanding attachment to grind an angle on some of the parts so that it would fit more snugly..
Other side..
Test fit...
Cut out for terminal cup..
Glued these two together...
Another shot..
Thats all for now, might get a little done tonight... Comments and Questions are always welcome!

UPDATE 4/20/08
Got a little bit done today... I wouldn't expect too much more what with the Playoffs on TV all day =)
I put down a drop cloth in the car and set the pieces in... the front frame piece meets up pretty flush so I put some wood glue down..
View from the top..
Little bit more of a gap on the other side.. filled it with liquid nails..
Put some glass down at the seems between the back/base/front frame....
Another shot.. I brushed the leftover resin over the MDF... after I get some more down I'll probably be able to seal the entire inside.
I'll check up on periodically in the breaks between games..
Things starting to clear up yet?

UPDATE 4/20/08 Evening
I cut out a mount for the terminal cup and glued it into place...
Who needs clamps?
Stapling some fleece down..
And on the other side..
Looks just about right..
Getting ready for resin...
Wet down..
Other side.. also brushed some of the excess resin over the face to seal it up...
Thats it for today!

UPDATE 4/21/08
I got a little done today...
This is what I started with..
Staples gone..
Trimmed...
Other side..
Staples out..
Trimmed up..
Sealed up some seams..
Glassed over the fleece..
Another shot... should be strong enough..
Little by little... I have plenty of time right now, still waiting on the new subs to ship...
