Need your help with JL Audio Install
Here's the deal, I was originally going to gut out the storage compartment and go for broke with a show-ccompetition install. But I just started a new job and don't think its wise to invest in a $10k+ installation.
So I decided to go more stealth. Here is where the forum comes in. Many of you have great ideas. I want to start this thread to see if you guys can think of ways of installing these items:
QTY Part
2 JL 10W7 Subwoofers
2 JL 500/1 Amps for subs
1 JL 300/4 Amps for everything else
2 JL Evolution XR650csi compenent speaker sets
keep in mind i have a gorgeous 10lb NOS bottle in the way. Check out the photos and help me out.
Also if you can recommend an authorized JL Audio dealer for my install in Tri-State NY, much appreciated.

Maybe you could put the bottle sideways between the rear speakers and the strut tower bar, and get an under-the-strut-bar sub enclosure made of fiberglass. This layout would take up easily the whole trunk area.
Another possibility, the bottle sideways in the very back of the trunk, and a custom fiberglass box (with the subs under the STB) that fills that area between the STB and speakers. This setup would leave you the top surface of the sub enclosure to mount your amps. That sub box will have to be fairly large, somewhere around 2.5 cuft, and it will take up easily the whole area between the rear speaker pod thing and the STB.
I would recommend the first idea and losing one 500/1 and 1 10W7 and just getting an under the STB fiberglass job like Nazar makes. You'd save something like 50+ pounds of stereo parts and still have trunk space for the inevitable beer shopping (important).
