Most of the equipment is a little older but hopefully it will work for me. So far I have run all the wires for the amp and speakers in the car. Just in the finishing stages of building a custom sub box. I like the understrut sub boxes as it leaves some space in the trunk but always thought the subs were a bit too close together and I wanted something slightly different. I made the opening at the front slightly larger to better space out the subs, and I also angled the front a bit so the top will be recessed under the strut bar by 3" with the bottom flush.
I will update as things get done.

Wow.. Old is correct. I Sold my Xtant 3300x on e-bay because I would not fit in the OEM Sub location. I ended up with a JL 5x500.
I sure hated to sale the Xtant.
Looking real good. Nice Job on the Sub Box.
Here is My Amp Mount:

I can't complain as the amp along with all the wiring, subs, head unit and eq were free. Just need to buy a set of components for the front. With the box, amp rack and instalation kit and harness I am only into this for about $75. Sounds pretty good for $75

I wasn't really happy with the sound of the subs so I rebuilt the box a bit closer to the recommended volume. I increased it from about 0.480 ft^3 per sub to about 0.67ft^3 per sub. This took out most of the angle of the front but should still look good, like any other under strut box but with the subs further apart. I will update the pics when it is carpeted.

The subs don't sound too bad, not the best though. I am running 2 10W3's. Would like to see what you end up doing with the 12. Any thoughts on where you will put it?
What I have in mind is making a box in front of the strut towers and position the sub exactly where you have your amp mounted. Time is what is stopping the build right now. That and I don't know how it would sound firing towards the front of the car.
Are the subs using a common enclosure, or do you have them divided into two separates?
You might want to take a look at this to get closer to your desired volume.

Also if they're the original 10w3's, they weren't that great of subs to begin with, so even running two of them, you're probably not going to get the quality that you're expecting....if they're the older model that is.
EDIT: From looking at the picture of the bare back of the box, it looks like you used a divider.

) I lost a bit of the angled recessed look after I rebuilt it but it sounds much better.
