bastard,

Thanks, I still need to get cover done for the back so you can't see any of the wires, but thanks for the compliment, it means a lot since it took so freakin long to do!!

excellent job, but that amp looks like it'll heat to over 150 degrees in that spot with direct sunlight hitting it..

You could be right, especially living here in Houston!!! I plan to put tinted plexiglass over it so that should help keep the direct sun light off of it(along with the tint from my back window).

And hell, if I need to, I can always add fans!

Awesome work...can tell there was a lot of attention to detail there. That sub box looks great, especially. One thing...having that amp there is just BEGGING to get stolen, and unforunately having hatchbacks we're particularly suscetible to theft

What % are you going with for the hatch? It'd need to be like 5% to hide that amp...

well, the hatch already has 20% tint on it.

when I build my amp rack cover, I am going to make sure that the plexiglass is tinted with 5%, so there will really be nothing that shows up (except when it is on, then the xover, amp and cap will glow through the tint!). I just have to keep it all hidden until I get the amp rack built (wich I do with a big piece of black vinyl, I know I know, its ghetto but it works for the short term )

Nice job. You took your time, put in the work, didn't rush the job . . . . and you ended up with a quality product. Nice.

I made the box myself. Took me a couple of tries, but I finally got it.

Its a snug fit, but that is a good thing
