I bought a 350z on Friday for the missis which had the factory stereo in and have attempted to fit a Phillips DAB head unit into from our other car. I bought the harness adapter from halfords and connected everything up but have no sound not even any hissing. I've not touched any of the speakers so carnt see why it could be them. I removed the Bose 6 disk head unit from a 2004. Any ideas I'm stumped

 

try the harness from the actual company/website, I bought a Ebay harness and it wouldn't play video, when I bought the harness off the actual website it worked perfect.

 

The harness is supposed to send the correct single to the correct speaker. Without test equipment like an oscilloscope I don't know how to troubleshoot this.

Maybe you missed a ground wire? Does the unit power up at all, just no sound??

 

mine doesn't have sound either.. the HU powered up and everything..
