Default My audio build

I purchased a JVC KW-R500 head unit with kicker ds60 door speakers, kicker ds65 back speakers and a sound ordnance m-4050 amp. Everything should be coming in the mail on wednesday so i'll post some pictures of the received product and I should be installing it either wednesday night or saturday morning .

My question as of now is should I get this kicker 10 inch free air sub to put behind the driver seat? I have the touring so it already came with the horrible stock bose 10 inch. Is it worth replacing? I might put subs in the back but if this gives it enough kick i'd rather just have the trunk room. Thoughts?

A lot have tried that approach. Most did not like the outcome. Several threads on the issue. Others use a subbox specifically designed for that location. WickedCas makes one

+1, if you like spending a fortune on an enclosure

Or you could also just build one for a fifth of the price and a few hours split around setting/drying periods.

Everyone I ask said the same thing, I'm leaving it alone for now. Especially since that case is $400 lol

Either way, after about 15 hours of work I finally replaced all 4 speakers and installed the amp. I really hate nissan after this weekend, so little room to work with. I'll post pictures, not really of details but mainly of what I took off/replaced

No. I referenced WickedCas only for the box designed for the stock location. I got my sub-box from Zenclosure. Lots of guys here have them with great results. There is an optional amp rack. I actually got both through their ebay aution for 160.00 shipped?. Considering the weight and size i feel it was a good deal
