Default Stealth box is crap, compared to NAZARs shietzah...install!

Yes I tried the JL Audio stealth box and was disappointed...the Nazar box arrived, all pretty and fiberglass....my boys covered it in Carbon Vinyl and it is so much better looking, more storage area retained and way better sounding.

The deep bass is phenomenal with the 10w7 I put in, a single and the stealth box was semi-crap with dual 10w3;s in it.

Highly recommend NAZAR and his stuff to any and everyone...check it out, Holla!

Wow, that looks sick. How much was the cf vinyl?

Indeed, the w3's are crap. The w7 is a much more dynamic and musically accurate speaker(not to mention loud). I wonder if you can tell me how those ZR components sound?

I want to do a similar setup with a single 10 and the 500/1. Good ish bro!

Man, Samps....you been busy with the car!

Like what you did with Nazar's sub enclosure. Here's mine without the grill installed!

Maybe see you at Kirner's sometime soon.

To be fair, you can't call the stealth box crap. 2 w3s performs nowhere near a w7. Not even a w6v2. That's a pretty tight box though. Me likey the cf.

I suppose I spoil myself with a w7 in a HO box n my maxima and when I heard the dual w3 set up, I was displeased to say the least. Thanks for the comments bros.

You should find Nazar on this board and get his box! I found the JL Audio stealth box to be inferior to a Nazar box with a w7 or two if ur a lil nutty.

You retain more storage area with Nazar's box too!

2 W3s can't compete with a W7. It's not the JL stealth box, it's the subs you didn't like. If Nazar were to build a box with 2 W3s, I doubt it will sound better than the JL stealth. If you want box that fits under the strut with a w6/7 go with nazars. He definately builds some good stuff.

ive heard you can switch out the w3's for w6's in the jl audio box, is this accurate? Im about to have the jl box installed and if Im happy i need a more cost friendly alternative than just buying a new box.

I've heard of people doing this. Here's the specs for each sub.

10W3v2-D6
Sealed: .75 cuft

10W6v2
Sealed: .625 cuft

So, if it fits, it should sound good. The mounting depth for the w6 is about an inch more than the w3. Just keep in mind, it's a sealed box. If you build a slot ported box with the same subs, it will slam, just not as tight.

Samps,

Do you have the depth of that box? Can you show a picture of it on the other side? Just want to see how much space it is taking up.
