Z convertible
Just reading Drive.com 2003 new car review:
Nissan
Nissan will begin delivering its dramatic 350Z coupe next month, priced from about $60,000, and the convertible version will follow towards the end of the year.

I just ordered a convertible.
The current belief seems to be that they talked about a retractable hard top but back out on that plan. It will probably just be a rag top.
The guys at Bob Sharp were estimating $3-$4K over the comparable hardtop model.

Sorry if I confused the issue. They said based on previous cars the convertible would be $3K - $5K more US Dollars.
By the way, you totally scared me when you said the convertible would cost $15,000 more. It took me a few missed heartbeats to realize you were posting from Australia. Whew.

That's OK I didn't notice you were in the US. I assume everyone here is from Oz or NZ seeing as it's a regional forum. All are welcome IMO but we'll have to watch that sort of thing.
US$5k is about AUD$8.5k at the moment. That's possible but things down here are usually inflated so a straight currency conversion rarely works.
