Guys... Nismo Spoiler is on my car already!
Here are a few pictures of the nismo spoiler on my silver track! Looks nice... but it got a scratch when the panel shop tried to take the original spoiler off.... it was SOOOO hard to take that off, you guys might soon to find out! But my panel shop is nice because they will fix that not so deep scratch for me for free later when my veilside front lip is here sometime this week! I hope these pics can give some helps for people who are thinking about getting it!!
Enjoy the pics!

Vey nice I am waiting on one to put on and was wandering a couple of things:
1. I assume you use the existing holes for the stock spoiler, do you have to drill additional holes or can it be installed with just the two holes.
2. how is the stock spoiler attached other than the two bolts? Adhesive???
3. Any tips on removing stock spoiler and installing new one?

Regarding to your questions here are the answers:
1. Yes, you need to drill another 2 additional holes to hold the spoiler and DO NOT use the template that Nismo provides, it is out of alignment!
2. The spoiler is bolted on with 4 screws and the double sided tape provided by Nismo in the package!
3. To this question... well... it really depends on your panel shop though... but you need to warn them that the nismo spoiler is actually sitting A LOT inward than the original one, so they will have to be very careful trying to take the spoiler off from both edges! I got my scratch at the left hand side edge where the original spoiler sat! Or they can be able to use the hot wire to remove the adhesive, just simple slide across between boot lid and the spoiler!
PS. you need to be careful of the boot lid while you are taking the spoiler off... don't over force it else you will have a dint on the boot as well!
cheers and all the best!

Two questions for you Richie.
1) Does the front-most "point" of the spoiler actually touch the car or is there a little space between it and the car. I though it would be tough to wash under there and I'll definitely have to devise a way to get my ZAINO under there!
2) Since you are in Austrailia, shouldn't your car look like this?

As to your questions:
1. Yeah.... there will be a gap at each side and Nismo provides a spong like adhesive to stick it on to the spoiler side, so the spoiler will not rub against the car body when you go over humps!
2. You are funny!!! hehehe.... well... due to the gravity of the earth, we FEEL like we are not actually upside down, but if you see it from the space, we will be upside down like that!

It beeps once when I shift into reverse gear, the closer you get to the object, the frequency of the beeping is faster and it will give you a constant beeping noise when you are about 20cm to the object... It does not come with the sensor display in the car like that one in Mercedes benz!
I hope that helps!

Nice, very nice! Sorry to hear about the problems removing the factory spoiler, I will be receiving my kit next week.
Question :
1. How much adhestive is on the factory spoiler, is it the full length or in small strips.
2. Was there any adhestive left on the car.
3. Would it be best left to a panel shop to remove.
4. If you remove the Nismo spoiler & reinstall the factory one would the extra drilled holes be visible.
5. How much of the rear vision is affected.

1. The adhesive goes around the factory spoiler and it is a really really strong on compare to the one that nismo provides!
2. Yeah... after pulling off the spoiler, some adhesive was on the car, but they were removed very easily with a bit of finger robbings!
3. I think it is better to leave the job to the panel shop because if they scratch your car, they will have to repaint the car for you for free, else if you do it yourself, you might have to bare this risk and the cost!
4. Yeah... after removing the Nismo rear spoiler and re-install the factory one, you will see two holes at the middle of the boot! So if you are going back to the standard spoiler, you will be fill those holes up!
5. The rear vision isn't too bad, but just need to get used to it while you turn your head to the left hand side to see the blind spot... I always think the spoiler is another car just at my blind spot! Just need to get used to it, that's all!

I saw a silver 350z on Victoria Parade going away from the city at 6.30pm yesterday. It looked just like your car, with the Nismo rear spoiler and the Rays wheels. Surely it's you or else there is another 350z that looked exactly like yours!
Nice car. My gf did't like the Nismo, but she liked the car. I thought the colour looks particularly nice under the sun light.

The total cost landed to my home including customs GST etc., $5045.00 thats $500 under my estimate. There is still the fitting and painting costs to go yet, what did the panel shop charge you (Z350Lover)??

My panel shop charged me VERY cheap on a really good job! only costed around 220 dollars to paint and install the rear spoiler! So as a whole kit, you will be looking around at least 500 over to paint and install I think! You need to prime the kits first because they are FRP kits... else would only cost me around 180 dollars to paint and install!
Cannot wait to see your complete car man.. heheh.. and i am still waiting for my Veilside front lip to come.... australian custom service really takes its time to do the job.... cannot wait!!!
