Front number plate moulding
I was at the shop getting the rear wing sorted and they asked if I wanted the front number plate moulding painted as well. They took it off and the guy said "why not leave it off". They then just mounted the number plate with new holes staight onto the bumper, covering up the two holes. It looks MUCH better!
Pictures to follow when the wing goes on tomorrow.

I've actually asked the dealer to see if the moulding can be left off. If it can I'm going to get one of the "frames" from the States that attaches to the grill.
Mind you they haven't told me if they can do it yet!

The plate holder comes pre fixed on delivery and you will have very little chance of leaving it off on delivery.
I have made a number plate holder for mine as soon as I picked it up. Will take some pictures and post it.
The number plate does cover the larger holes but must be brought forward so that the plate does not rub on the bumper.
When I post the pics you will understand.

A family friend just picked up a second hand 350Z (yes i know ppl r already selling), and when he attempted to take the numberplate cover off, it damaged the paint underneath. There were two holes in the bumper, which she covered with her plate that she had made up as a sticker. Not even the US 350's have a clean front end, they have small dimples where the bolt holes on Aus cars r.
