Default got a new g-tech

Woot!

I'll bring it to the next meeting so we can get some 0-100, maybe even a 1/4mile if we find a quite location.

The great thing about the g-tech is that is will give you true rear wheel horsepower + or - 3 hp. Thats rwhp on the move...so the air is flowing through the air box like it's supposed to.

Anyway... I just got excited so i had to post!

If Sunday July 5th at Silverwater is still on, will you be coming there?

I payed $220 for mine and it's the g-tech pro.

There is a new one out now called the g-tech pro competition. If you are a serious competition racer or workshop then it's the dyno you have then you're at the track.

It retails in the US at 240 USD (comp version), mine retails there for 140USD. Do the exchange rate, add gst and shipping and it's easier to buy here.

BTW it's a great tool but i can see it sitting on the shelf once you have tested your car to death. I'm lucky to be surrounded by friends who have performance cars so it won't go to waste any time soon.

Will post some stats when i do some averages... i also need to find a very flat piece of rd as it won't be accurate if it isn't level.
