Someone just told me Nissan has the RRP up for the roadster at http://www.nissan.com.au/zRoadster/m...y_roadster.asp

Only $10k more than the Touring coupe. No Track model.

 

I'm kind of glad that it's out of my ball park as far as costs go. I would be mighty cheesed off if it was comparable in price to the car I have now (touring) after owning it for only one month.

I've always liked convertibles though..oh well..

well its pretty much what most of us with a Track would have paid on road so its not overpriced in my opinion.
Looks better than I expected, but I still would have bought the coupe over the choptop.........
If only the Z was a T top.

 

I initially didnt like the convertible, but the more pics i c the more im liking it. The only notable feature its missing is the Brembo brakes. I think the price is quite reasonable, and puts it on par with the 2.5L Z4. Im picturing a silver convertible with blue soft top and black seats......mmmmmm HOT!!! Im definetly going to hold off buying a coupe until i c this thing in person in that color combo. Just in time for summer too, ohhh baby!!!

On a side note, dealer mentioned the convertible now has a black centre console in a different quality plastic, including revised nav door. He also said it will have improved quality plastics on dash and doors with a different texture, to better limit glare....not one to believe everything they say, but kinda makes sense. No word tho whether these changes will b on 04 coupes too. Personally i prefer the grey console, breaks up all the black, and the improved interior quality should b a bonus.
