Longer Studs
Does anyone know where I can longer wheel studs from?
I need a set for the front on my Z. The nismo ones that I found will fit but rather not take the risk as I can't measure them prior to purchase.

I am wondering to know why do you need to get those longer studs anyway? Are you sure that your front studs are shorter than the rear? for mine, they are at the same length though Rizk...
The ones that we have are 25mm by 1.25, as long as you get the ones that are longer than 25mm, you will not go wrong with that!

The reason I want the longer wheel studs is for a 15mm spacer. I have investigated the 15mm spacers that come with the studs already in them and found after speaking to a few wheel guys in the "know" they believe that these are not a safe option as they are too thin. Their experience is that the 15mm spacers that have the studs tend to warp over time. I know you going to tell me that the spacer is sandwiched between the 2 hubs and cannot warp but they still are addiment it will.

The spacer is retained by the original studs & the wheel is now bolted up to the 5 new studs . If the spacer is too narrow there is a chance of movement under high corner loading.
What you propose to do with the longer studs is sandwiching the spacer beetween the the 2 hubs.

We put longer studs (2.5") on our 510. Nissan studs were very expensive ($45/5 studs) and we ended up buying them from Summit Racing ($12/5 studs) in the USA. ARP also has many quality fasteners including studs.
I still don't get it RIZK....
I meant the original studs are WAYYYYY longer than the spacers already, why do you need even longer onces? and where about are you going to put them (hide them) behind the wheels? When I locked my 15mm spacers on, there are about 10mm's left outside the spacer surface already.... it only fits perfect with 25mm spacers...


and I have 15mm all around now without any problem!
Btw.... do your spacers come with "centering hub" that will ensure wheels are entered? If not, you are in danger though as your wheels might move around.

As in the first photo of the post above. This is a 15mm spacer which bolts onto the factory studs and in turn has it's own studs that bolt onto the wheel hub. No stud replacement necessary.
This is the scenario that has been expalined to me that it is not "ideal" due to the fact the spacer is only 15mm unlike the second photo of the 25mm spacers in the same configuration it is considered "ideal".
The spacer I have purchased is a hubcentric spacer but since the spacer is only a spacer and has no studs I need to lengthen the front suds.
