Nissan Service
Hey Guys, seeing as though everyone is quick to put ***** on our Nissan people I thought it would be nice to let everyone know of an experience I just had.
As most will know (on the Oz forum) I have just had my car in to get a couple of things sorted, one of which was the window tinting peeling in the corner.
Anyway, went to pick the car up today, got in,pulled the door towards me and the arm rest flexed in the middle. Ive gone WTF and starting sweating. Looked at the arm rest and when they put it back together they had left out 1 of the screws and had scratched the plastic door trim (where all the switches are) and had obviously put a screwdriver in between a couple of the bits to prise it open and it left in indentation in the door trim.
Ive gone back into the service department, who have been superb since Ive had the car, and told them of my problem.
The manager came out had a look and his gone WTF.
They had to send the car out to get the tinting fixed and the tinting shop had farked it.
Anyway, the manager says to the service guy "so that harry doesnt have to come back in again go and get the door trim of the new Z in the showroom and put it on his car".
Other than the fact that it shouldnt have happened in the first place but this wasnt Nissan's fault, you cant complain about the service!!
As always

Snowman, the dealer is Kloster's at Hamilton. After my first visit to actually buy the car they have been great. Couldnt recommend them enough.
You're more than welcome for the disc, hope you enjoy! Keep an ear out for the commentary (read the subtitles) when the bloke in the Boxster is talking. Talk about laugh your giblets off!

Not surprising given the size of the trim really. I better make sure I pick the right trimmer when I have mine done in leather.
Harry, if you want to put your service place to the test, see if they know anything about the new Bose service bulletin that was released Oct 1st. It's TSB NTB03-087. I've tried a few Sydney places but none of them know anything about it nor did they even bother to check.
