Rear number plate surround slipping
The main "surround bezel"? on rear no plate on mine slips up and down.
Leaving scratch marks approx 1/2" movement.
Check yours.
When new they move a bit (I just checked in showroom), as they progress they must get more and more loose. It's hard not to move it up when you grasp rear opening switch.
Haven't had a serious go at Nissan yet, but I can see it being a prob..........

Yup I had that too! As Nissan Australia has no interest to fix anything my dealer did it themselves.....they have been great.
I have the following issues:
- Grease streaks on both windows
- rear slipping number plate surround
- shocking paint on the front bar chipping
- hell of a lot of rattles
Love the car but getting sick and tired of Nissan Oz!
Even after sending them the Nissan America TSBs they wont do anything!
Anyone interested in putting something on paper together and seeing if we can get them to do something?

Yeh I second that motion!
Nissan Oz takes the cake for apathy and the ol' assie can't give a fu*k attitude. May have worked in years gone by but not anymore.
Anyway I think any car worth 60-70 grand ought to have some sort of red carpet treatment imho.
Right now i'd settle for the same respect I got from Holden!

I'd be happy to sign anything going to Nissan.
FWIW I had a look at my plate surround yesterday while washing the car. I couldn't get it to move with any amount of force I was willing to try.

Even though 've personally had no drama at all from my dealer, and in reality no great probs ith the car, I would be happy to help the brethren out by putting my name down.
BTW I too, have the moving number plate thingy.
As always
