The one from the S2000 fits and is readily available. It's not a 100% perfect fit at the base, probably a mm or two too big but that's such a small difference it's not noticeable unless you actually look for it.

They cost about $75 from any Honda parts place. If you search around on this forum you'll find pics but basically it looks like the stock one with the thinner top part cut off.

Whats wrong with the stock antenna again?

I mean apart from the fact that it should be fitted into the rear window!

Too noticeable IMO. It really should have been an electric at least rather than that long whip. At least the small antenna doesn't draw as much attention to it.

The stock attenna is way too long, doesn't make the car look 'clean'. Like you said, it should have been integrated into the rear window like the TT... also, why is there a rear windscreen wiper? The Australian delivery 200SX didn't have one and neither does the TT... probably my only two gripes but i'll live.

MELB350Z

I have one for sale if interested. I bought it for mine and decided to keep the original.

I think it cost me $35 need to check.

If interested let me know, looks like this one from the ptuning web site except it is not billet but the same material as orginal antenna.

$35 is an excellent price for the Honda one. They retail for around $75, I bought mine at dealer cost through a friend and it was more than that.

Have just ordered the 3.5" one - only cost about A$30 delivered so worth trying. Will post a pic when it is on the car.

Guys,

Those of you that have the short antennas, what is the radio reception like?

Personally I don't have a big issue with the original aerial but some of those short ones look quite good - if they do the job then one of them might be worth a try.

I can't tell the difference between the Honda one and the Nissan one and I listen to JJJ a lot more than I do CDs.

Have you still got the $35.00 one?

Is it easy to fit, i.e. does the whole lot come out or does it screw on our original base?

ta...

Like Matt said, you just screw the long one out and the S2K one just screws on. No other adjustments are necessary.
