Have secured VDO Dayton 5500 and original screen.
Anyone know if the 7" VDO screen goes in OK?..Harry??

Also getting Neesa DVD linked in and FM modulator.

Is it OK to put DVD and Sat Nav units in the small storage compartments?...will aeriate.

I'm not sure but i think the Small Storage comparment will fit but you can't close it with the VDO Unit fitted.

 

Steve, not that I actually have one, but, this area is certainly not my area of expertise. Ive got nothing for you champ, sorry.

With saying that I think everyone is using 7" screens with no probs. Best off doing a search or post in the main forum in the appropriate location.

i'm not sure sorry. The only thing i know about nesa is that the NRM-7001 is the same LCD manufacture with the Farenheit TMR-7001 that most US Z owner use. That's why i'm Certain the Nesa 7" will fit.
I'm not sure the VDO will because all 7" are not the same unless the LCD screen component are made by the same company.

Hope this explain it. But the best choice is you try to measure the dimension of the VDO 7" Screen and compare to Nesa or Farenheit screen L x W x Thickness.

If the Difference is very minimal it might just fit. but maybe you can see a LCD border frame on your LCD compartment.
