Default Steering Difficulty

When pushed into TIGHT corners the ability of the Z to turn in
seems to me to be severely lacking - I wonder if the tyre
feathering business is anything to do with it?

I have to PULL the thing into the corner and it's downright
reluctant to "come around".

Does anyone else agree?

The Nismo S Tune G Attack Supension Kit will fit that problem.

yep....and it bounces around the corner if the road isn't smooth.

Again new shocks will fix that.... but why should we have to?

TEPID, perhaps you could get your alignment adjusted so that it "tips in" quicker?

Im with Zuffy though, there are things with this car that we shouldnt have to fix!

As always

Totally agree about the lack of turn in.

Chaps - thanks for the response.

I'm a bit between a rock and a hard place in deciding what to
do - I think that more toe-out mill improve turn in - but just
judging by the overseas comments - even standard toe-in
is a major factor in the development or otherwise of the
tyre feathering problem. A further factor seems to be the
frequency or otherwise of high speed travel.

They say that at speed, the toe-out INCREASES - and most of my
vehicle usage is on the expressway.

(H - no need to worry - red only looks fast).

ZZZ-35 - do you have info on the kit? ie availability, cost, experience?

Regards,

Agree with ZZZ-35 ... the Nismo does fix that. I have had the full kit now for 4 months (comments in other post).

I had the kit supplied and fitted by the dealer for $4800. The cheapest aftermarket supplier I could find when I was in Sydney was Perfect Run.

Brett.
