Has anyone here in Oz had to replace a screen yet?

I was taking a young lady to her formal in a convoy of cars engaging in "spirited driving" and a rock flicked up and cracked the screen

Just wondering what I'm up for dollars wise?

I'll post a pic when she gives it to me

 

Ive never had to replace the screen, but, I can remember somone posting a while ago it was about $730 or there abouts.

Anyways, still have a cracked screen at the moment (windscreen mob did something to it?), but here's why I was driving silly on the day in question (taking this young lady to her formal and scaring her stupid I think )

 

We put in a new screen for Bathurst as the old one was very sand blasted & a few bulls eyes.
Cost $308 fitted from Windscreens O,Brien
We supplied the 2 new trim mouldings.

 

I got a quote the other day from windscreens O'Brien - $270. You have to say you are in the trade and adopt a trade like voice -
"Gidday mate - Bloggs Car Repairs here - gotta screen for a crappy jap Nissan 350Z?" "Can't ya do better than that? - my vb Holden costs less than that!!"

Or something similar.
