there is no harmonic damper on the OE pulley.. it is also internally ballanced... changing the pulley on the VQ35DE does not have the problems that changing pulley's on other motors does...
Jeff has been running his Z with the UR Crank Pulley up to 7200 RPM's for a while now.. no problems...

It is refreshing to see such an enthusiastic Nissan Dealer that Performance Nissan is. If only we had a dealer like you here.
Now back to the front pully. The Nissan workshop manual describes it as a Front crankshaft pully, no mention of the word Harmonic balancer. But on close inspection of the pully it has an insert of rubber about a 1/4" (6mm) thick on the rear face of the pully.
What was the rubber inserted for if not to dampen out harmonic vibrations?
The motor is indead internally balanced as are all modern mass produced motors.
As to any problems with the UR pully for the Z, none have been published that I'm awear of
