I guess it might be hard to calculate the total HP this way though as all the mods together might not necessary produce the accumulated HP produced by each individual mod.

Such that the Nismo S1 engine only has 20HP more than the stock's 280HP and the differences are: new cams, new exhaust, new flywheel, new ECM, new cats, new cam pockets, new intake pipe, new filter and new spark plugs.... for the price of nearly 10K AUS.

This is a really good indication to the N/A mods.... that's really a lot of money to tune up the N/A engine.... and it might be better to go for a "package" instead of adding parts in one by one as package price might turn out to be cheaper as usaul?! And yes... the problem is.... there aren't much packages out there.....

cheers,

richie

Z350:

This is all true, for reference though people in the states with all these mods, except the NISMO heads, are getting about 285 -290rwhp, so these numbers arent too far off those results and should be close enough to give us a good indication. If some in particular arent sitting well please let me know a more accurate result.

The NISMO heads would take care of the port matching and head polishing. And spark plugs are tricky, they could loose you hp somewhere in the rpm band and gain a little somewhere else, but the gain is so small you couldnt measure it. Im basing this on a dyno I saw of a M3 which lost as much as 5hp down low and gained about 1hp up top.

Has anyone purchased any of the above? Whats the shipping and install time on some of these items?

Will installing a header will Make the Exhaust louder isn't it?
Also will it make your car running lean?
